We are excited to invite applications for the position of Project Coordinator at LRI Engineering. Essential Job Functions
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of proposal development, from initial request to final submission for all business areas i.e. Code, Systems and FLSS.
Communicate directly with clients to confirm proposal details, timelines, and invoicing requirements.
Prepare tailored proposals and pricing quotes based on the scope of requested services.
Coordinate with technical staff for peer review and final sign-off.
Maintain proposal tracking and documentation in Salesforce.
Review RFP, determine scope of work, respond to RFPs and other inquiries, including cold calls and website submissions.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline proposal processes and improve efficiency.
Update and maintain proposal templates and qualification documents.
Use Salesforce to manage client contacts and identify new business opportunities.
Monitor public bid platforms (e.g., MERX, Biddingo, Urban Toronto) for relevant opportunities. Explore relevant business possibilities, take lead on bid preparation and closely work with managers to submit a competitive proposal.
Conduct market research to support business development strategy.
Coordinate with project consultants and administrators and ensure quality and integrity of the information to compile winning proposals.
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a relevant field of study.
Experience
A background in engineering technology or.
Previous experience in proposal coordination in engineering, construction, or architectural industry.
Key Skills
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing, especially in translating technical content.
Ability to interpret client needs and align proposal content accordingly.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
Analytical mindset with excellent research capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Planner (or similar tools) is an asset.
