Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Vice President, Enterprise Platforms. Your Moneris Career - What you'll do Lead teams of software development professionals responsible for multiple aspects of product development. Plan tasks (e.g., front-end platforms, design and implementation of assigned product domains, integration with third-party POS products), hold code and design reviews while ensuring that all components are architecturally consistent. Define high-level architecture, collaborate with senior developers across the team on design, and review and approve detailed designs. Drive all aspects of development including requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration. Launch and manage external Help Desk solutions to improve customer support. Expand Monique platform capabilities across Help Desk and Status domains. Integrate Monique with KMS for seamless knowledge management. Drive enhancements to Monique’s marketing strategy for better engagement. Enable Gen AI features within Monique to deliver advanced automation. Release multilingual support, including French version of Monique. Extend Monique functionality into Moneris Portals for broader accessibility. Implement secure, authenticated workflows for Monique interactions. Expand self-service features to empower end-users and reduce dependency on support. Provide digital-first contact options for streamlined communication. Your Moneris Career -What You Bring Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent work experience. Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of experience working in system-level software development / architecture role. Fully proficient in software development, large-scale systems design, business intelligence environments, and/or data architecture environments. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders on technical vision. 5+ years of technical leadership and people management experience with a passion for inspiring others. Experience with software tooling, particularly large-scale configuration management and deployment systems. Proven ability to lead deployment of external Help Desk platforms. Expertise in scaling solutions like Monique across multiple domains. Strong integration skills with tools such as KMS for knowledge optimization. Strategic mindset to enhance product marketing and adoption. Familiarity with Gen AI technologies and their application in enterprise tools. Experience delivering multilingual solutions for diverse user bases. Ability to extend platform capabilities into enterprise portals. Knowledge of implementing secure, authenticated user flows.
