Role: The Senior Advisor's primary tasks are to generate revenue, retain existing merchants, and maintain excellent relationships with high-value small and medium-sized businesses by building relationships with them and providing excellent customer service. Main responsibilities: Revenue generation Identify all opportunities within the assigned SME portfolios. Selling bank card services. Selling/updating terminals. Re-evaluate the merchants again at profitable levels (if applicable). Promote and sell additional services offered by Global Payments and its partners Customer loyalty and account management Handle all customer loyalty issues using strong negotiation skills to keep the merchant at a threshold of 45 PBS. Equipment orders Proactive Outreach to identified High Value merchants Special projects Relationship Building with all merchants Guidance for team members and training assistance Escalation Handling Customer service Single resolution service. Ensure follow-up within 24 to 48 hours of all voicemails, emails and notifications from CSP Ensure close monitoring of all Retention Opportunities Prevent the escalation of problems as much as possible from the first contact. Document all concerns and solutions in CSP Required qualifications: Post-secondary diploma, preferably with a concentration in business, sales or marketing. One to two years of sales experience, preferably in a similar role. Strong negotiation skills and telephone sales skills (inbound and outbound calls). Excellent relationship-building skills and telephone communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills focused on sales and ability to provide superior customer service. Ability to identify all the needs and problems of merchants using open-ended questions and in-depth questioning. Time management skills and organizational skills enabling the delivery of products and services to clients. Good knowledge of several PC software programs, including: Word, Excel, Outlook Strong analytical skills to be able to work independently and submit problems to management when necessary.
