What You'll Do Build Advanced Data Pipelines: Develop complex ETL/ELT processes using advanced SQL, Python OOP, and containerized architectures Deploy Production Solutions: Use Docker and Kubernetes to orchestrate scalable data applications in cloud environments Collaborate with Business: Gather requirements from stakeholders and deliver solutions through agile sprints Develop Full Stack Applications: Create Node.js APIs and interfaces that serve business data needs Leverage AI Tools: Use GitHub Copilot and GenAI for accelerated development and code optimization Support Production Systems: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise data infrastructure Required Skills Core Technical Requirements Advanced SQL: Complex queries, window functions, CTEs, stored procedures, query optimization Advanced Python: Object-oriented programming, class inheritance, design patterns, enterprise development Docker & Kubernetes: Container deployment, orchestration, cluster management in production Database Design: Normalization, indexing, performance tuning, data modeling Cloud Platforms: AWS/Azure/GCP container services (EKS, AKS, GKE) What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field 1-4 years experience in data engineering or software development BI & Visualization: Experience in structuring data for Tableau or similar BI tools. Production experience with containerized applications DevOps tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) ETL Tools: Experience with Apache Airflow, Talend, DBT, or similar ETL frameworks. Big Data Processing: Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, or other big data technologies is a plus. Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills Strong Teamwork and Collaboration Skills Analytical Thinking Nice to Have Actuarial Knowledge and Insurance industry knowledge Knowledge of factors affecting Claims and Insurance Policies Other programming skills considered an asset What’s in it for you?
