The Role: Contract Jr. Logistics Campaign & UFO Coordinator
Availability: Full-time with the ability to work mornings, evenings, and
occasional weekends and holidays.

The Jr. Logistics Campaign/UFO Coordinator, reporting to the Freight MIT, is
responsible for efficiently transporting materials to customers, ensuring that
service requirements are met while optimizing costs. This role emphasizes
delivering and maintaining a high level of service to customers through
proactive communication and transparency throughout the transportation process.
Working with the distribution team, the Jr. Logistics Campaign/UFO Coordinator
will help lead and execute transportation projects focusing on improving
operational performance and meeting service levels for our customers. As a Jr.
Logistics Campaign/UFO Coordinator, you will incorporate LUSH’s Leadership

What You Do (Responsibilities):
- Manage all incoming and outgoing UFO requests throughout their lifecycle.
- Maintaining communication with and fulfilling special order requests from
other departments within the business.
- Proficient use and knowledge of UPS, Canada Post, and FedEx shipping systems.
- Liaising with distribution systems, inventory, and systems support teams when
needed.
- Ensuring shipping deadlines will be achieved, and providing accurate
estimates/time frames for business unit send-outs.
- Picking and managing all inventory required for send-outs.
- Coordinating the packaging and prepping of all products and orders.
- Verifying address lists for CSV upload files.
- Processing and printing all shipping info/labels and customs documentation
through UPS or other desired carriers
- Problem-solving shipping deadlines and timing of package arrivals to meet
business needs and following up on lost/late packages.
- Provide meaningful commentary to customers and stakeholders concerning the
Campaign / UFO
- Support in meeting organization and leading huddles.
- Properly update the Teams tracker and reference it for information as needed.
- Log and communicate tracking numbers to Lush business units when sending
materials or other small-pack items via small parcel (single/mass shipments).
- Working with the inventory team to solve inventory issues.
- Working with Procurement and Procurement Support to address any stock
shortages upon material receipt before assets begin shipping.
- Completing delegated tasks on time.
- Physically receive Purchase Orders and make them available to be stocked in
the pick locations (Campaigns Only)
- Flexibility to support other parts of the business, including Distribution
Associate roles**
Administrative & Other Functions
- Have a full understanding of our Sales order process and support all aspects
of sales orders
- Establish transportation SOPs to ensure shipments are compliant with
transportation SLA
- Execute the daily processing and posting of sales orders, and waybills.
- Loading of all allocations and management of store back orders
- Print pick sheets for the picking team at the required times
- Review shipping schedule against orders received and highlight any potential
issues with distribution and junior coordinators
- Partner with the Item set-up team to ensure the quality check is maintained
- Support campaign initiatives, new product launches, and seasonal product
launches
- Maintain shipping on request to stores and freight team for both coasts.
- Maintaining Biofresh Sales orders to ensure fulfillment.
- Provide meaningful commentary to customers and stakeholders relating to
transportation results
- Attend strategic meetings as requested
- Provide daily and weekly reports in all aspects related to systems
Key Results:
- Work collaboratively with other areas of the business
- Proactively identifies solutions to potential problems to guarantee service
level agreements are achieved
- Responsible for hitting key performance indicators (KPI), including on-time
delivery scores and parcel spend
Who You Are (Qualifications):
Required:
- Current Lush employee
- Currently holding a Systems Operator Role OR a Systems Supervisor role, or
have experience holding either of these roles in the last 2 years
- LUSH distribution experience required
- At least one year of direct experience working in the supply chain
- At least one year of direct experience in freight/transportation
- Strong understanding of transportation metrics and how they can support
supply chain objectives
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and resourceful when dealing with issues
and challenges
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with
others at all levels within the organization
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic
environment
- Proactive in research and self-development to provide best-in-class knowledge
with industry standards and trends
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-directed and driven to achieve desired results
- Service-oriented with keen attention to detail and diligent in follow-up
- Proficient with MS Office Suite/ Google Docs and formulas
- Domestic and international travel may be required
Preferred:
- Holding current role for minimum of 1 year
- College diploma or University degree in Business, Logistics, and/or Supply
Chain
- Knowledgeable in transportation laws and regulations
- Experience with all modes of transportation
- Proficient in project management, vendor evaluations, and process improvement
- Experience with ERP/TMS/WMS
