Purpose: Reporting to the Area Foreman, the Field Operations Summer Student position requires organized, detail oriented and motivated individuals who are ready to work in a fast-paced environment and take on new challenges. The role involves working alongside team members with extensive and diverse experience within Field Operations and students will gain practical field operations experience to further advance their studies. The successful candidates must be able to work and reside in the Whitecourt, Alberta area for the summer term. Responsibilities: Maintain housekeeping of operational sites and facilities, which includes cleaning and painting Assist in vegetation management; weed eating of sites and facilities Assist Field Operations as required for compliance including data capture and asset management of equipment Support warehouse and supply chain personnel with assigned tasks Requirements: Valid Class 5 license and experienced driving on rural and remote oilfield roads Entering, or continuing post secondary education. Preference will be given to applicants who are in a program related to the energy sector.
