Mail Clerk
Entry-level print and mail operations role in a fast-paced, on-site mailroom and facilities support environment. Tasks include mail handling, shipping coordination, printer support, and room setups. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and ship mail and packages via postal services, express, freight, and local couriers.
• Receive, sort, log, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
• Process accountable mail and maintain distribution logs.
• Arrange alternate shipping services to meet business needs.
• Perform quality checks on outbound mail and log charge-backs for services.
• Conduct mail labeling, mail merges, and electronic mail distribution.
• Assemble, package, and kit materials for fulfillment.
• Adhere to mailroom security protocols.
• Log, transmit, and distribute faxes promptly.
• Manage scheduled mail delivery/pick-up runs.
• Recommend workflow improvements to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot mail issues and track lost/delayed items.
• Provide basic user support on Colour Multifunction Printers.
• Monitor, order, and restock mailroom and office supplies.
• Set up meeting and training rooms per client requests.
• Assist with catering support for meetings.
• Ensure kitchens and coffee stations are stocked and orderly.
• Respond to facility service requests and follow up through resolution.
• Maintain a professional, customer-oriented approach in all tasks.
What you will need to succeed:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Physically able to be on feet for extended periods and perform room setups.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to take direction.
