We’re actively searching for our next team member for the position of:
Senior website specialist
As a member of our team, you will Oversee the management and optimization of TMI’s global website to enable global business and brand success.
Responsibilities Include:
website strategy
Own the vision for TMI’s CMS as an enabler of brand health and commercial success
Recommend goals and targets to accelerate commercial success via the website (e.g. brand discovery and consideration, subscriptions, eCommerce enablement)
Monitor the industry and competitors to identify trends and best practices and ensure TMI’s website reflects industry standard
Propose business cases for platform investments and timing for implementation, including integrations
Research and understand user behavior to ensure site structure and layout drives usability, performance, and advances the user on their journey
website governance
Implement policies for user access roles and permissions for both internal and external stakeholders, including development sandboxes, the CMS, and analytics
Manage processes and workflows to maintain effective site structure (architecture, navigation, schema), content publication, and quality assurance; which includes considerations for multiple languages and locales
Create and implement design systems and components to ensure the website is engaging, responsive, and aligned to brand standards; such as page layout templates, colors, fonts, and icons
Ensure the website is optimized for performance, including page speed, crawlability, and indexing
Implement consistent standards for taxonomy, metadata, and data capture, including tagging, tracking, attribution and naming
Ensure the website complies with data privacy and accessibility requirements
Deliver training and onboarding for new and existing users, including platform use, updates, and process changes
product Ownership
Define capabilities, requirements, user stories and product backlog items
Manage the product backlog, collaborating across IT, MarComm, Portfolio and Sales to ensure priorities are delivered in a timely fashion; including features, integrations, and bug fixes
Manage website operations and ensure the CMS is usable for content authors
Ensure the website is effectively integrated with the rest of the MarTech stack, including CRM, DAM and analytics
Coordinate platform upgrades and issue resolution as needed
Manage release notes and training materials
Measurement & Optimization
Use data to identify UX issues, broken journeys, or underperforming content
Manage page redirects and regularly audit for broken links
Monitor and improve the website’s health and overall performance
Support and/or participate in reporting and insight delivery to partners in Sales, Portfolio, and MarComm to enable ongoing delivery against business objectives
health & Safety
Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Business Administration or a related field of study
8+ years of experience in marketing or a related field
Experience managing a corporate website; multi-language/locale preferred
Advanced acumen working in Content Management Systems (CMS), Drupal preferred
Knowledge of user experience (UX) and accessibility best practices
Exceptional user research and empathy skills, able to understand user needs and translate them into useful solutions
UI or graphic design skills and tools (e.g. Figma)
Knowledge of site structure and technical SEO
Advanced proficiency in website analytics and tools, including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
Exceptional collaboration and relationship management skills
Prior experience as a scrum master or project management an asset
