We’re looking for an Allocator to join our Product & Insights team based in the Chester office in Vancouver, BC. This individual will report to the Manager, Insights & Allocations.
Job Overview: Reporting to the Manager, Demand, Insights & Allocations the Allocator will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the right product is in the correct place at the appropriate time in sufficient quantity.
You will have the opportunity to:
Conduct weekly allocation of year-round and seasonal SKUs to all our sale channels based on sales potential, capacity, and shop needs
Analyze store level inventory and sales to determine optimal in-stock levels, maximizing sales opportunities and minimizing waste and stockouts
Identify risks and opportunities in sales and inventory levels and advise the Demand and Supply teams to support in-season reforecasting
Support the launch of new products and seasonal initiatives by aligning distribution strategies with Merchandising team and Demand Planning
Ensure data accuracy and adherence to allocation calendars and timelines
Support process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of allocation processes
Conduct post-season inventory level analysis to aid in determining next steps – shop to shop transfers, price markdown, etc.
You will be a good fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related field
2 years of experience in retail planning, allocations, or inventory management preferred
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (using queries, pivot tables, etc.). Experience with Power BI is an asset
Experience with retail planning or ERP systems (e.g., JDA, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
Ability to balance multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong customer focus and a genuine love for retail
