Position Summary
Tacten is seeking an experienced Rope Access Journeyperson Electrician to support our client site, CNRL Horizon, in Fort McMurray, AB! As a Rope Access Electrician, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety.
Project Details:
Long-Term Maintenance - Full-Time
14/14 Rotation, 12 hour shifts
Start Date: ~January 1st
Must be Local to Fort McMurray, AB
Responsibilities
Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required
Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations
Identify issues, replace faulty components, and to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
JM Electrician Certification required
Must have EHT experience
IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification - or willingness to obtain IRATA Level 1 certificate.
Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
Exceptional safety and quality awareness
Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
Safety Certifications
ESC CSO or OSSA BSO
First Aid certification
