Air Canada seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join Air Canada’s Digital Analytics team on a 12-months contract. This interim role is focused on advancing key missions that will strengthen Digital Analytics foundations and enable long-term efficiency for the team.
The right candidate brings strong technical and business expertise in Digital Analytics platforms (Google and Adobe), combined with the ability to document, automate, and map processes.
Responsibilities:
Automation & Documentation: Develop automated approaches for producing data layer, tagging, and QA documentation to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
Process Linking & Simplification: Map current workflows within the Digital Analytics team and identify opportunities for streamlining, knowledge continuity, and long-term optimization.
Business Partner Playbook: Build a practical reference guide for Product Managers and Marketers that clarifies analytics request processes, reducing rework and misalignment.
Analytics Platform Audit: Lead an audit of GA4 implementation across key digital properties, providing prioritized recommendations to improve data quality and reliability.
Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in digital/eCommerce analytics or tag management.
Hands-on experience with GA4 or Adobe Analytics QA and reporting.
Strong understanding of front-end web development JavaScript and HTML5.
Track record of documenting complex systems and creating clear process guides.
Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
