Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to join our team as a Service Technician for Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems (VFSS) in Saskatoon, SK.
Main Responsibilities as a VFSS Technician
You will perform a variety of maintenance and repair activities, including:
Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining vehicle fire suppression systems and other Fire & Life Safety equipment at customer sites
Conducting life safety inspections and audits, providing clear recommendations for corrective actions and ongoing maintenance
Delivering site-specific training for owners and end users
Acting as the face of Levitt-Safety and ensuring an exceptional customer experience
Accurately completing service reports and maintaining detailed documentation
Qualifications
Mechanically inclined and eager to learn and grow in a hands-on technical role
Experience working in a mechanical shop or hands-on environment with vehicles or motorized equipment is a strong asset (but we’re open to training the right individual!)
Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude, with experience using power and hand tools
Experience, education, or training in fire protection and/or suppression systems is an asset
Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
Ability to pass pre-employment and periodic drug/alcohol testing and criminal background checks
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working with technology, mobile devices, and digital reporting tools
Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and problem-solve in the field

Physical & Safety Requirements
This is a physically demanding, safety-sensitive role that involves working with various types of equipment in diverse environments. You must be able to:
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted
Work safely in confined or restricted spaces
Climb ladders and navigate walkways on large equipment
Maintain good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
