Hiring Unit: Department of Surgery and Division of Surgical and Interventional Sciences Course Title and Course Number: Surgical Outcomes Research Foundations and EXSU 610 Estimated Number of Positions: 1 Total Hours of Work per Term: 51 hrs Position Summary: Assist with organization of course materials on myCourses. Assist in the conduct of interactive lab- sessions. Grade exams and assist in grading assignments and presentations. Provide assistance to students on conceptual clarification and communicate areas of confusion to the instructor. Qualifications: Only Current Masters or Doctoral student registered at McGill are eligible to apply as Teaching Assistant. Preferably in the field of health sciences (Experimental Surgery, Experimental Medicine, Epidemiology, Public Health, and/or related fields). Good Communication skills. Experience navigating MyCourses. Understanding of topics related to surgical outcomes research is expected, but not essential. Having taken EXSU 610 before is an asset. Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.
