Cummins is looking to add an apprentice diesel mechanic to its team in Surrey, BC.
In this role you will do the following:
Assist in cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, and other basic workshop activities.
Learn Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follow documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and maintenance.
Help complete required documentation, such as work completed forms and time sheets, either by hand or through business system input screens.
Complete training in-line to job skill and business requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of the work area and tools.
Project a positive company image by interacting cooperatively, supportively, and courteously with fellow employees, customers, and management, displaying a professional attitude.
Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to the supervisor.
Attend classroom training at an accredited university while gaining knowledge and experience in the work environment.
