Your Impact in This Role
The primary focus of this position is to advance and expand the use of wood in construction across British Columbia. The role centers on providing comprehensive support to construction projects and their design teams from initial concept through to occupancy. The successful candidate will develop and manage a robust project pipeline, offering technical guidance and knowledge transfer to drive adoption of wood solutions. In addition, the advisor will build deep market intelligence that informs organizational strategy, helping to open, strengthen, and protect market access for wood-based construction.
What you'll do
Provide insight, guidance, and technical support to designers, contractors, and municipal officials in support of WoodWorks’ strategic initiatives.
Manage and develop technical resources to build adoption and address barriers to wood construction.
Engage and educate the AEC+D community to create new opportunities and better understand stakeholder challenges.
Deliver presentations at internal and external events and assist with the preparation and promotion of targeted events and communication materials.
Updating and maintaining project tracking through CRM, KPI’s and activity reports.
Regular communication with program partners, participation in technical resource groups, and support for the development and execution of strategic priorities and activities.
