What can you expect in this role?
Providing support for various governance, regulatory and corporate matters, under the guidance of our General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Coordinating board, committee and shareholder meetings and materials
Administration and maintenance of minute books, licensing processes and files, and corporate records
Interacting with provincial and federal financial institution regulators concerning corporate licensing and related matters
Assisting with SEDAR, SEDI and stock exchange filings
Drafting a variety of corporate documents, including corporate minutes, resolutions, notices, etc.
Assisting with preparation of corporate and commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements and routine contracts, as well as the completion of corporate transactions

Ability to manage timelines, adhere to schedules and manage processes
A keen attention to detail
Minimum 3 years experience as a corporate law clerk within a Canadian financial institution, law firm or public company
Expert knowledge of preparation of corporate minutes and maintenance of minute books
Previous experience being involved in the corporate secretarial function for a Canadian financial institution, and/or publicly traded company, is highly-desirable
High degree of proficiency with English and French required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
Salary Scale: $58,100 - $106,900
