The Business Process Manager will manage project planning, execution, and monitoring for assigned initiatives across Northern Ontario. The implementation and management of software solutions for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Risk, and Sustainability. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, scheduling, delivering projects on time and managing budgets. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience with other/ similar EHS software and a proven track record in project management within large organizations is required. Key Responsibilities: • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for the business side. • Perform health, safety, and compliance functions as assigned by management, such as training for facility and equipment inspections and safety communication to the workforce. • Responsible for completing various administrative duties, including incident reporting and onboarding along with scheduling training sessions. • Test and coordinate with internal IT teams, operations, EHS staff, to ensure scope and alignment on project objectives and deliverables. • Monitor and adjust plans as needed to meet project goals and deadlines. • Act as the primary point of contact for EHS staff and Operations through regular communications and relationships to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations on the business side. • Partner with IT to oversee implementation of new Enablon's software modules and handling of defects and fixes. • Coordination with Operations, Safety and Environmental Staff needs for the configuration and customization of the software. • Lead and manage project members, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring accountability. • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. • Identify potential risks and challenges that could impact the project and develop mitigation strategies with Operations and Safety. • Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues or roadblocks that arise. • Some additional EHS Functions may include: • Manage dotted line staff such as EHS Advisors, Coordinators and EHS Managers. • Manage employee orientations, onboarding and training requirements • Support facilities and equipment inspections with Operations and Safety. • Understanding of SCAT DNV would be an asset. • Implement and champion EHS Management System. • Assist in compliance and regulatory issues, EHS, DOT random testing, etc. • Maintain safety files, employee records and training databases. • Perform other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: • College Diploma or University Degree, preferably in health and safety. • 5-7 years of experience in a Health and Safety or a related role. • 2-3 years of experience mentoring and managing field level staff. • Comprehensive knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and industry safety standards. CRSP or CSP designation would be an asset. • PMP or equivalent certification is preferred. • Other software experience may include Workhub or SAP EHS Management • Experience with IHSA COR. • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Enablon, Intelex, Gensuite. • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in all areas of work. • Self-starting proactive individual who can work well independently and in a team environment. • Able to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Travel between 10%-15%. • Must possess a valid driver’s license. #GFLTALENT We thank you for your interest.
