Project Coordinator
Contract
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all administrative responsibilities related to the Commercial Solutions department. This is a seasonal part- time role that is based out of our Aurora Garden Centre location with possibility of extension.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with our category managers to secure required product for the Commercial Solutions team in a timely manner.
Receive product, track inventory and build production in our software system Phoenix.
Ability to provide quoting, estimates and invoicing for our guests.
Purchase order creation and tracking.
Coordinate credit applications with our accounting department on opening of accounts.
Some accounts payable and accounts receivables understanding.
Working with all Garden Centres on transfers of product to Commercial Solutions i.e. checking for and securing stock, communication with Garden Centres as well as doing transfers of product.
Exhibit an enthusiastic, helpful, and positive sales-oriented attitude towards all Commercial Solutions projects, ensuring a high level of service.
Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:
This role will require the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including day, evening, weekends, and holidays as seasonal peaks require.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have completed high school and be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Existing product knowledge or ability to learn.
Passion for the industry, sales, and guest service.
Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
Effective time management, with the ability to adapt and prioritize multiple tasks and situations.
You do not shy away from conflict and have courage to resolve problems and trouble shoot guest complaints.
Punctual and dependable, and highly value honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
