We’re looking for a skilled, customer-focused Fire Sprinkler Technician to deliver mobile service across BC. If you take pride in your work, love solving problems on the go, and want to grow in a specialized, high-demand trade, then we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Provide mobile repairs, maintenance, and installations on sprinkler systems across BC.
Perform industrial and special hazard suppression work including Kidde, Clean Agent, and Water-Based Suppression systems.
Inspect, install, and service fire protection equipment, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting (ASTT certification is an asset).
Deliver professional service and build strong, lasting customer relationships.
Maintain clean, organized tools, vehicles, and equipment in line with company standards.
Complete preventative maintenance following manufacturer guidelines, FM & NFPA requirements.
Track and maintain inventory on your service truck and site-specific trailers.
Participate in on-call rotation (as required) and remain fit for duty.
Support inside service work when needed.
Obtain and maintain manufacturer/jurisdictional certifications; troubleshoot and resolve system issues confidently.
Attend and successfully complete Kidde, Ansul & Fogmaker VFSS training courses.
Complete accurate daily logs, work orders, and paperwork.
Participate in daily toolbox talks; follow all mine and customer safety regulations; report hazards/incidents immediately.
Collaborate with the BC Service & Sales team and represent our company with professionalism onsite.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with mechanical/electrical aptitude
Sprinkler Fitter Certification required
Working knowledge of vehicle suppression systems (Kidde, Ansul, Fogmaker) is an asset
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience servicing fire extinguishers (powder & cartridge)
Comfortable with technology, mobile devices, and digital reporting tools
Clean drivers abstract
Must pass pre-employment and periodic drug & alcohol testing and a background check

Competitive range - $90,000.00 - 99,000.00 annually based on experience + paid training/certification

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Comfortable with bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and working from ladders
Frequent walking through buildings, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods
