Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, Early Learning Centre, the Supply Educator provides children in the Early Learning Centre a safe and nurturing early learning environment. The Supply Educator is available to work on very short periods of notice. Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 (two) year diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education; Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators as a member in good standing. Registration is an asset; Clear police check for the vulnerable sector issued within the past 6 (six) months; Immunization record as recommended by Ottawa Public Health; Valid Standard First Aid and CPR C Certification; Mature interpersonal and communication skills; Flexibility, initiative, enthusiasm, commitment to the growth of the children and the training of students; Good organizational, multi tasking, communication and problem-solving skills This position requires on-site work at Algonquin College’s Woodroffe (Ottawa) Campus.
