We are looking for a passionate and expert Senior Product Owner to join our dynamic team, where you will have the opportunity to drive impactful changes that enhance our digital offerings and improve the overall experience of our members across our website and mobile app. Position Responsibilities: Product Discovery & Delivery Leverage data, feedback, and competitive analysis to refine and prioritize features that enhance the member experience across digital platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the strategic roadmap and experience vision, and translate these into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans Provide regular updates on delivery progress; create and maintain delivery plans, timelines, and milestones to keep stakeholders aligned Partner with UX, development, QA, and customer service teams through the full delivery lifecycle. Lead dependencies and risks, proactively addressing challenges to keep initiatives on track Communicate progress and value-add outcomes clearly to stakeholders and leadership Testing & Quality Assurance Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure all releases meet quality standards Collaborate with QA and Product Analysts to monitor and resolve defects Identify opportunities for improvement and deliver enhancements that drive measurable impact Stakeholder Collaboration Act as the voice of the member in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders Partner with Customer Experience, Operations, and Marketing to ensure alignment on messaging and support Required Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role, with a demonstrated track record of accomplishment in delivering successful digital products and understanding technology environments Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Certifications in Product Ownership or related disciplines are preferred Product Understanding: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring timely and successful product launches; proven ability to translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements. Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong decision-making abilities Preferred Qualifications: Domain Expertise: Experience in the Canadian insurance industry, specifically Group Benefits. Digital Platform Expertise: Experience supporting digital products across end-to-end workflows (e.g., onboarding, claims, customer support). Proficient in mobile apps and responsive web platforms. Customer-centric mindset: Strong grasp of UX research and customer journey mapping, experienced in synthesizing customer feedback to inform product decisions AI Familiarity: Familiarity with the latest AI trends and technologies, providing a forward-thinking perspective on future enhancements Tools: Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and analytics platforms is an asset When you join our team: We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
