Job Description

As an Airport Planner, you will help create efficient, sustainable environments tailored to the evolving challenges of the aviation sector.
What you will accomplish with us
Participate in the planning of airport infrastructure (airside, landside, and terminal).
Conduct feasibility, technical, and functional studies in collaboration with architecture and engineering teams.
Develop and review development scenarios, including layout plans, space allocation, capacity studies, and spatial analyses.
Work closely with architecture, engineering, urban planning, operations teams, and airport authorities to ensure integration of proposed solutions.
Contribute to drafting technical reports, graphic presentations, and consultation documents.
Monitor and integrate trends and best practices in airport design, technological innovation, and sustainability.
Assist in coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
Support project follow-up through construction and commissioning of facilities.
Perform site surveys and visits prior to studies.
Qualifications
University degree in architecture, engineering, urban planning, or a related field in transportation.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including some in the airport or complex transportation infrastructure sector.
Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of airport operations, ICAO and IATA standards, and local regulatory requirements (an asset).
Knowledge of Québec Building Code (an asset).
Proficiency in spatial modeling and design tools: AutoCAD (required) and Revit (an asset).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
Team spirit and collaborative mindset.
Initiative and attention to detail.
Ability to successfully pass security clearance for obtaining an airport restricted area access card.
