Your responsibilities: Strategic & Investment Teams Support Support and collaborate on new platform initiatives and opportunities that aim to respond to client needs, generate operational efficiency, or support the vision of our investment platform strategy. Maintain a proactive dialogue with Investment teams and identify opportunities for offering strategic support and enhancing their day-to-day needs. Coordinate fund initiative efforts between Investment Teams, Implementation & Trading functions, as well as various other internal teams. Prepare supporting documentation such as business cases and Investment Policy Statements. Maintain strong partnership with Fiera’s public markets sub-advisors/external managers. Platform Oversight & Investment Monitoring Lead ad-hoc investment analysis of flagship products offered across our investment platform, focused on reviewing strategy style, historical performance and characteristics, and sources of performance contribution. Ensure accurate and timely completion of various recurring reporting deliverables covering the public market platform’s performance, competitiveness, and key highlights, presented to diverse audiences such as internal executive leadership and other external stakeholders. Assess the competitiveness of our flagship investment offering relative to comparable peer universes across various investment metrics and communicate findings with internal leaders. Ad hoc support of our Distribution Team with platform specific questions that arise as part of ongoing Request for Proposals (RFP), Due Diligence requests, and direct questions received from clients. Business Management & Internal Governance Collaborate with internal business functions (e.g. Performance, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Finance, etc.) in tasks and/or projects that require an understanding of the different elements and characteristics of our investment platform. Drive new projects and initiatives and that aim to improve current business practices and drive operational efficiencies. Participate in various internal governance committees (Trade Management Oversight Committee, Global Soft Dollars Committee, Global Broker & Counterparty Management Committee, Global Proxy Voting Committee, etc.) and help drive the strategic vision. Review and assess new vendors that can further support our business and Investment Teams. Team Leadership Lead the day-to-day direction and oversight of two team members and drive the overall strategic vision of the team among the broader Fiera Capital landscape. Work closely with senior leaders and Investment Team members to deliver tangible results. Engage with external investment partners to ensure effective collaboration and information flow. Must have requirements to be successful in this role: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or any other relevant field Master’s degree in Finance combined with CFA or CAIA designation are strong assets Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the asset management industry Strong knowledge of investment strategies and asset classes Expertise in interpreting complex data, conducting ad-hoc investment analysis, and assessing competitiveness Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority Strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels within the organization Entrepreneurial spirit and capacity to identify opportunities for improvement and implement new initiatives effectively Ability to lead a team and rally towards a common goal Bilingual (French and English, written and spoken) Additional Information: Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 4 days in-office per week. #LI-Hybrid For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
