Intern, Future Leaders Development
This is a full-time summer internship lasting from May 11, 2026, until August 28, 2026.
Job Summary
The Intern, Future Leaders Development supports the design and deployment of leadership development programs and communications. The role is within the Future Leaders Development team which develops and implements company-wide solutions to accelerate the development of CN’s future leaders and targeted audience.
Major Responsibilities
Work on key projects and programs related to accelerating the development of CN’s future leaders at all levels of the organization.
Support the launch and day-to-day operations of different coaching and mentoring programs at CN including managing a variety of daily inquiries received by the future leaders’ mailbox.
Support deployment, tracking and follow up actions for assessments and other leadership development tools such as 180 and 360 feedback evaluations.
Track and organize program data including participation rates, system user data, assessment results and qualitative program feedback. Analyze data to support continuous improvement and key decision making.
Assist in the design and preparation of comprehensive program documents, including job aids, presentations, and communications.
Test and optimize key processes including testing and configuring hosting technologies and attending retrospective learning sessions to promote continuous improvement.

Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal (English, French)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (SharePoint, MS Forms, Power Automate)
Experience with LMS, survey platforms and coaching technologies
Experience with personality or psychometric assessments and data analytics
Education
Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a field related to Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or Business (with a major/minor in HR)
*Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
