You will report directly to the CEO and, as a member of the senior management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the destiny of Bulkley Valley Credit Union and ensuring our overall success. You will be responsible for leading strategic change initiatives that enhance efficiency, strengthen governance, and deliver greater value to members. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Risk, Technology, Finance and Human Resources to drive the transformation initiatives across the organization. You will establish and lead projects to standardize project execution, governance, and reporting; drive successful delivery of transformation projects, ensuring alignment across the organization; design and implement change management strategies to support adoption of new systems and processes; and build engagement across teams to foster a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. You will be pivotal in driving Bulkley Valley Credit Union’s growth, development, and achievement of strategic objectives. By leading the transformation efforts, you will have a direct impact on streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and fostering innovation within the organization.
The successful candidate will have a a minimum of 10+ years of experience in roles related to business transformation leadership, project governance or PMO office, or strategic planning. A proven record leading enterprise-level projects within regulated financial environments and of successfully leading and executing business transformation initiatives, driving significant improvements in business performance. An individual with experience plus education and/or training equivalent to 10+ years will also be considered.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred. PMP or PgMP certification and strong knowledge of PMI methodologies, Agile practices, and change management frameworks. Completion of or willingness to complete the CUIC Management Studies Program.
