This position is based in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Purpose: As a Professional Education & Relations Lead at J&J Surgical Vision you will support all JJSV and JJVC education initiatives, COE and KOL development, management of Advisory Boards as well as, all potential Canadian educational funding opportunities. In collaboration with Health Care Compliance and Finance provides oversight, review and approval of all Grant and Fellowship requests. Support educational strategies in collaboration with Global that align with the organization's overall business objectives. Assists in planning and executing educational events including peer-to-peer programs, speaker training, roundtables and conference related activities. Manage travel and accommodation for faculty, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations (ie MedTech Code of Conduct). Executes rigorous, systematic, metric-oriented approaches to track and monitor medical education program implementation and impact. Facilitate professional services agreements, honoraria processing, and disclosure tracking in accordance with company and legal policies. Assist with all audit preparation. Track and reconcile payments, budget utilization, and engagement timelines. Develop relationships with the Key Opinion Leaders and/or professional societies to enhance the development of programs. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with JJSV business leaders and Global Source Companies to ensure alignment, collaboration, and innovation. You will be responsible for: Capability Development Support the development and execution of medical education programs including facilitation, coordination and management of KOLs, facilities, logistics and vendors to ensure that programs operate efficiently. Utilize the J&J CWT Travel and Event management Services. Streamline processes to ensure business and HCC needs are met. Program Management Implement professional education strategies tailored to the needs of JJSV and JJVC Canada. Ensure that all HCP Educational content is current, copy approved, relevant to the business plan, and compliant with all government and legal requirements by working with content development leads and vendors. Connect with Education colleagues to implement best practices and leverage learning tools and assets developed in other jurisdictions. Monitor and evaluate program impact through KPIs and feedback loops. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Professional Education, and other internal teams to ensure content relevance and alignment. Innovation & Best Practices Develop strong global partnerships to remain current on Professional Education strategies worldwide. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in Professional education. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Life Sciences, or related field is required. 5+ years related experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry is required. Professional education experience is an asset. Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of the healthcare environment and external marketplace. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. 10-20% business travel may be required.
