As a Business Operations Analyst, you will serve as the key bridge between BI developers and business teams, including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations. The Business Operations Analyst will interpret business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and ensure BI solutions effectively support sales performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. This position also plays a critical role in organizing deliverables and reporting progress to upper management.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Domain Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with LG sales business teams to understand KPIs and data needs across sales operations, order-to-cash, pricing, promotions, forecasts, returns, and margin analysis.
Identify business pain points and design BI-driven solutions that improve visibility into sales performance and operational processes.
Gather and document functional requirements that align with business goals and reflect sales processes, system flows, and data dependencies.
Cross-Functional Communication & Technical Translation:
Act as the communication bridge between business stakeholders and BI developers.
Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring BI developers understand context and objectives.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and design sessions to align expectations and clarify analytical logic.
Project Coordination & Delivery Management:
Prioritize incoming BI requests based on business impact and urgency.
Track progress, manage timelines, and escalate risks to ensure successful delivery of dashboards, data models, and system enhancements.
Support testing efforts by coordinating UAT with business users and validating outputs against expected results.
Documentation & Process Standardization:
Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirement specs, business process flows, data mappings, and reporting logic.
Help standardize reporting metrics, definitions, and data governance practices across the sales subsidiary.
Create user guides and training materials for new dashboards or data tools.
Management Reporting & Executive Communication:
Prepare regular project updates, status reports, KPIs, and executive-level summaries for senior leadership.
Communicate major milestones, risks, and decision points clearly to upper management.
Provide insights that help management understand performance trends and key business drivers.
Business Insights & Continuous Improvement:
Analyze sales, operational, and financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or anomalies.
Recommend improvements to data models, business rules, and workflows to enhance accuracy and usability.
Support business readiness for upcoming initiatives such as system migrations, process changes, or new reporting capabilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
Proven experience as a Business Operations Analyst or similar role in a sales-driven environment.
Experience mapping business processes and recommending improvements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Experience with project management and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or SharePoint.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles is an asset.
Familiarity with sales processes, KPIs, channel/partner programs, and promotional structures is a plus.
Bilingual in English/Korean is a strong asset
