About the role We’re looking for a Manager, Tech and Lab Business Office, to join our growing team! Manager, Tech and Lab Business Office, Prioritization and Planning The Manager, IT Intake, Planning and Capacity manages and leads the business and IT in the prioritization and planning process, including robust benefit cases through to realization. Responsibilities include defining and managing annual and in-year intake items, defining and improving the intake process (including benefit gathering and monitoring), monitoring initiative definition, pre-inception deadlines/milestones, and reporting on the progress of programs to all levels of stakeholders. The Manager will maintain an overall view for the Intake deliverables and dependencies and lead capacity plan enablement. What you’ll do here: Report to the Director, Tech and Lab Business Office, to ensure IT Intake and benefit processing, reporting and monitoring are fully functioning. Create an IT resource and capacity planning model to ensure all projects/initiatives have the proper resources and skills to deliver Ensure funding is aligned and make recommendations (on gaps/opportunities, etc.) for items/initiatives that go through intake process Lead monthly prioritization and funding exercise (PFR) Maintain a strong business focus with an understanding of the current and strategic direction of Intact technologies Identify Intake critical success factors, risks, and resource requirements Manage Intake communications with stakeholders (Business and IT Executives) Report benefit progress, risks, challenges, and engage management as needed Collaborate with other tech and lab business office leaders, exchanging ideas, working on improvements of process Ensure the collaboration of key groups (infrastructure, security, architecture, and procurement) in order to evaluate initiatives through intake. What you bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. Proven track record of deploying large programs and projects on time, in scope, within budget, and meeting other related KPIs. 7+ years of experience in managing intake submissions, project prioritization and reporting 5+ years in IT resource capacity planning 3-5 years client relationship management experience Efficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, Teams, SharePoint Work experience in a virtual environment Experience in resource matrix management Expected Skills: Strong organization and planning skills Excellent presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage stakeholder relationships. Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Excellent people management skills Proven leadership and ability to influence, remain calm and maintain focus on sustainable results Results-oriented Dynamic, ability to work in a changing & fast-paced environment Great at working with others, proactive with ideas and solutions Sense of prioritization and change management No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
