Your Role Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing & B2B Communications, you will develop integrated marketing and B2B communications plans for CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions, working closely with our sales teams. You will be responsible for communications strategies, brand management, sales tool creation, media relations, partnerships and events in order to contribute to divisional sales targets. As the Manager based in Montreal, you will lead a cross-functional team that supports operations in both Montreal and Toronto, collaborating daily with your counterparts to ensure strategic consistency across markets. You must ensure effective use of resources and measurement of deliverables against the strategic plan. You will be responsible for adhering to budgets as well as corporate standards and policies. Responsibilities Assess the needs of the sales teams. Develop positioning and craft impactful marketing and communications strategies. Ensure the integrity of the brand. Lead trade marketing and event strategies with high standards of excellence throughout Quebec. Advise and support CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions leadership. Design, implement and optimize comprehensive 360° marketing campaigns focused on client acquisition and retention. Lead the Montreal-based Marketing & B2B Communications team. Collaborate with the Toronto-based Marketing & B2B Communications team. Manage a high volume of deliverables, including the production of sales tools, major events, B2B website updates, monthly newsletters, ad hoc communications, sponsorship activations and much more. What we are looking for: University degree in communications, marketing, business management or a related discipline. Five years’ team management experience. 10 years’ combined experience in planning and writing B2B communications; planning and producing trade marketing tools; media relations; sponsorship activation and organizing large-scale events; lead generation and internal/external communications. Solid understanding of the broadcasting industry, CBC/Radio-Canada programming and competitors’ activities. Stellar communication and collaboration skills. Ability to be proactive and independent as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadline pressure. Exceptional strategic, client service, relationship management, negotiation and leadership skills. Ability to develop and maintain professional business relationships internally and manage through influence; tact and diplomacy. Superior oral and written communication skills in French.
