JOB SUMMARY
The Bayshore Specialty Rx (BSRx) Senior Business Applications Analyst is accountable for the operational management, strategic oversight, and continuous improvement of the BSRx portfolio of business applications—including CRM, Customer Insights, SharePoint, Connex, and related platforms. Acting as the primary business Senior Analyst, this role ensures applications meet evolving business needs, deliver value to stakeholders, and support organizational objectives.
The Senior Business Applications Analyst leads all aspects of change and release management, ensuring new features, updates, and integrations are delivered smoothly and with minimal disruption. This individual is responsible for application performance, user adoption, issue resolution, and the overall success of the BSRx application ecosystem. The role partners closely with business users, IT, and vendor partners to drive adoption, optimize processes, and champion best practices.
This person acts as the business matter expert and liaises with BSRx, and Bayshore Information Technology group to ensure monthly release deliverables are met for software applications. The Senior Business Applications Analyst will leverage their critical thinking and troubleshooting investigation skills to business test new application functionality and solve operational application issues.
The Senior Business Applications Analyst is responsible for system configurations and maintaining SharePoint program documentation.
As well, the Senior Business Applications Analyst supports projects as a business representative on specific BSRx IT related projects to perform requirements gathering and sign off, project coordination of activities, timelines and scope creep, and the coordination of business resources required to complete user acceptance testing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the operational management and lifecycle of the BSRx business application portfolio (CRM, CI, SharePoint, Connex, etc.), ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
• Lead and coordinate all change and release management activities, including planning, testing,
deployment, and communication of application updates and enhancements.
• Gather, analyze, and map business requirements from stakeholders to inform application improvements and new feature development.
• Serve as the primary business point of contact for application support, managing escalations and collaborating with IT to resolve issues efficiently.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate documentation, training guides, work instructions, and release notes to support application validation and user adoption.
• Facilitate and lead Change Advisory Board meetings, ensuring effective governance of the application release process.
• Track and resolve application issues, and initiate corrective actions as needed to ensure operational excellence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business and project stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for application users.
• Support and coordinate user acceptance testing, ensuring business requirements are met and solutions are fit for purpose.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement across the application portfolio.
• Provide regular progress updates and insights to the Business Applications Manager and other leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 4-7 years’ experience in business applications, product management, or business analysis, preferably in healthcare, specialty pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading change and release management for business applications, including planning, testing, deployment, and stakeholder communication. Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics CRM, MS SharePoint, MS Customer Insights, BSRx Connex, or similar platforms.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable solutions for IT or as a citizen developer using low-code Microsoft products.
• Strong understanding of business process optimization, application lifecycle management, and best practices in operational support.
• Experience with use case diagramming, workflow documentation, and business analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle escalations with diplomacy and urgency, and drive continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
