We are growing and searching for a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) to join our busy clinic! In this role, you will support our customers as acting as a primary contact for our products including initial training, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure adoption of devices.
This is a permanent, full-time position based onsite at our Sudbury HearCANADA Clinic (Pine Street). Some localized travel may be expected and as such, access to a car and a valid driver's license is preferred. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm local time.

What you will do:
Act as as a point of contact for customers to answer product-related questions, provide product training, maintenance and care, and troubleshooting
Educate customers on product features and benefits to increase product adoption
Discuss communicative strategies with customers
Following established protocols and as assigned by the supervising Audiologist, load existing settings from NOAH following a repair, perform electro-acoustic analysis and verification on hearing aids (with interpretation by supervising Audiologist)
Manage documentation pertaining to customer purchases and insurance claims that may include entering prescriptions or hearing aid recommendations into TCM (Electronic Medical software), assisting the customer with third party claims and processes, and providing follow up
Recognize and capitalize on sales opportunities through various mediums (walk-ins, customer referrals, telephone inquiries, retention practices, etc.)
Conduct effective telephone follow up for new fittings (48 hour follow up calls)
Identify and participate in community events and organizations to promote HearCANADA (community-based marketing, CBM)
• Act as a liaison with physicians’ offices and other referral sources to maximize opportunities
What we're looking for:
Completion of a CDA program from an accredited institution
Experience working in a hearing clinic or CDA capacity would be an asset, however, we are willing to train someone with completion of the program and limited experience
Clear communication skills and comfortability in interacting with diverse customer groups
Ability to work under pressure in a busy clinic setting
Willingness to participate i some local travel - access to a car and a valid driver's license is strongly preferred as some travel will be expected within the assigned region (mileage paid) for community events and marketing initiatives
