Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Educator provides coordination, facilitation, leadership, planning and resource development of the 24/7 Clinical Support Help Line. The CNE serves as a key clinical resource, providing on-call support and expert guidance to nursing staff in real-time. This role is responsible for assisting nurses with clinical decision-making, task execution, and the application of evidence-based practices to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. The CNE collaborates with staff across all shifts to address complex patient situations, clarify clinical protocols, and promote ongoing professional development. This position plays a critical role in fostering a supportive learning environment and maintaining clinical excellence throughout the organization.
Experience
Experience using electronic assessment tools will be considered an asset.
Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities
3 years experience in clinical area within the past 5 years
Requires experience in planning, program design, implementation, and evaluation.
Education
Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
