Job Description: The Health Educator - Staff develops, implements, and evaluates broad strategies to create the conditions that support health, including the social determinants of health, for citizens of Saskatchewan. This position develops population-based health promotion activities including: the development of healthy public policy, creating supportive environments, strengthening community action, and re-orienting health services. This person works in partnership with other Saskatchewan Health Authority departments and community partners to help set the direction for population health promotion activities and will advise and influence the Population Health Department regarding population health promotion issues and opportunities. This position is currently based in Lloydminster and supports NW 4. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
