Our Sustainability and Climate Innovation (SCI) group spearheads our efforts. The group helps advance our sustainability and climate strategy, oversight, capabilities, and practices; and deeply collaborates with the investment teams across public and private markets asset classes to develop our collective insight, integrate factors related to sustainability throughout our investment processes, and deliver public reporting to stakeholders. We’re seeking a Senior Analyst, Sustainability, to play an active role in the activities of the SCI (Sustainability group. As a valued member of the SCI group, you will report to the Director, Public Markets & Active Ownership, Sustainability & Climate Innovation. ABOUT YOUR ROLE As Senior Analyst, Sustainability, you will join the SCI group where you will focus on the group’s support to PSP’s public markets activities. In your role, you’ll: Actively contribute to the integration of sustainability and governance considerations in public markets activities, helping to identify material risks and opportunities that can affect investment performance Perform research and analysis on sustainability-related risks and opportunities to inform investment due diligence, portfolio monitoring, proxy voting and stewardship activities Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of sustainability workflows at PSP, including at the pre- and post-investment stage and for internally and externally managed portfolios Actively participate in the development and enhancement of frameworks, tools, platforms and datasets that enable sustainability integration across investment workflows Collaborate with PSP’s dedicated climate team to deliver climate insights to public market activities Monitor global sustainability and governance developments, market trends and industry best practice, translating them into clear insights for the investment teams and senior leaders Prepare clear and compelling industry briefings, summaries, reports, and presentations on various sustainability topics for investment teams and senior leaders Support PSP’s participation in collaborative industry initiatives and associations that advance best practices in sustainable investing Collaborate on PSP’s disclosure and reporting activities on sustainability matters both internally and externally WHAT YOU’LL NEED Bachelor’s degree required and master’s degree preferred in a relevant field such as sustainability, climate, finance, business administration, or related discipline. Additional sustainability-related certifications are assets Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant sustainability-related experience, preferably in the sustainable investing space Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems for the benefit of the organization Passion for sustainability and governance topics, and willingness to continuously develop subject matter expertise in specific areas as required by business needs Resourceful and action-oriented, ready to take ownership and deliver results aligned with business needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa) We offer a tailored employee experience and competitive total rewards and benefits package designed to attract and retain global diverse talent, reward performance, and reinforce business strategies and priorities.
