Job Description: The Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that fosters children's overall well-being. Guided by How Does Learning Happen? (HDLH), the RECE plans and implements age-appropriate, play-based programs that support children's spiritual, social, physical, emotional, and developmental growth. Responsibilities include designing responsive learning experiences, co-constructing activities that encourage exploration and curiosity, and building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. The RECE ensures a safe and inclusive environment while leading and mentoring Early Childhood Assistants and supporting continuous quality improvement in alignment with HDLH principles. Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is $23.28 to $29.10 with a maximum of $34.92. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
