As our demand grows, we're looking to add a Fabrication Shop Assistant to our team. The Role:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, based out of our fabrication shop in Guelph, ON
Assist the fabrication team with cutting, grinding, and preparing components and materials
Assist with light welding, tacking, and fitting
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication area
Support inventory, deliveries, and other general shop duties, as required
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in a similar role - industrial, construction, manufacturing, or multi-trade environments considered an asset
Experience operating basic hand and power tools (grinders, drills, metal-cutting tools, etc.)
Arc welding experience is preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Eager to learn and develop new skills
Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
