Overview
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you are responsible for optimizing Greenhouse’s warehouse strategy, managing finished goods and raw materials inventory, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective fulfillment operations. You oversee the full flow of work across staging, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and inventory control, consistently balancing exceptional customer service with operational efficiency. This is a hands-on, working supervisory role—while you lead the team and drive results, you’ll also be actively involved on the floor, operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, pulling and staging orders, completing counts, and supporting daily warehouse tasks as needed. If you enjoy leading by example and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this role is for you.
In this position, you supervise overall warehouse operations and the day-to-day activities of staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to help the team perform at its best. You oversee core functions such as receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and all related documentation, ensuring work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. You monitor and evaluate staff performance and shift goals against broader business objectives, using data and hands-on observation to recognize strong performance, address gaps, and drive continuous improvement. You also ensure the safety and security of goods, materials, and people by implementing and reinforcing strong safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and identifying risks before they become issues.
You are comfortable working with systems such as a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource planning system (ERP), or related tools to track, analyze, and improve warehouse processes and performance. You partner closely with internal teams and third-party distribution providers to expand Greenhouse’s fulfillment reach, troubleshoot and resolve fulfillment issues quickly, and continually improve cost efficiencies and service quality. Through active collaboration, process development, and consistent, on-the-floor leadership, you help ensure the warehouse runs reliably, efficiently, and safely every day.
