Senior Project Manager, IT
Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the Senior Project Manager, IT will lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives across the IT portfolio, including a complex ERP migration and other strategic technology projects. This highly visible role partners closely with key business stakeholders, project teams and IT leadership to ensure disciplined project delivery, effective governance, and alignment with business strategy.
What will do you as a Senior Project Manager, IT?
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, refining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
Serve as a primary point of contact for project team members and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project activities
Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and plan resource allocations for both technical and non-technical work streams.
Oversee and manage changes to scope, timelines, or resources, assessing associated risks and impacts.
Maintain and update all project management artifacts to ensure accuracy and compliance with governance standards
Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and supporting documentation as required
Provide periodic progress updates to leadership, highlighting risks, actions, issues, and key decision points
Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans proactively
Coordinate with resource managers to secure allocation approvals, monitor utilization, and adjust resources as needed for optimal performance
Lead through influence across diverse, multi-functional teams, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards
Manage internal and external relationships, facilitating collaboration across all relevant teams and stakeholders
Manage the project closure activities, including formal acceptance of deliverables, operational handover, and completion of required documentation
Motivate and engage project teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and deliverables
Provide support and guidance to project team while ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of time
Schedule and facilitate project team stand-ups to review progress, address blockers, and maintain alignment on priorities
Monitor and report on project budgets, track costs, and maintain burn-down charts to manage slippage and variances

Do you have the Spark? Here’s what we’re looking for:
University degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field; PMP certification an asset
8+ years of IT Project Management experience, including 3+ years managing ERP projects (NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Sage, etc.)
A self-starter possessing a solution driven attitude and a results-oriented mindset
Ability to manage multiple in-flight projects while maintaining a focus on prioritization and standard of quality
Proven track record in successful end-to-end ERP and integration implementations
Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies; skilled in managing scope, budget, schedule, and stakeholder communications
Strong knowledge of business process transformation and change management principles
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
Proficiency in project management tools/documentation, IT service delivery metrics and data-driven decision-making
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
