Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for leading Latam & APAC programs in
designing, developing, testing, and deploying a variety of new customer
experiences by working with engineers. The work will be primarily in the Retail
Shopping space and generally related to Pricing initiatives. You will partner
across functions to help define creative vision, product requirements, user
experience, and cross-team integration for retail operations. You will be
working within a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, designers, product
managers, business stakeholders, and central team engineers, you will help
define and drive the product from concept all the way through to production.
A day in the life

Lead multiple, complex cross-functional initiatives simultaneously from
initiation through delivery. Involves anticipating bottlenecks, providing
escalation management and communicating status broadly across all levels.

Make tradeoffs while balancing the business needs with technical constraints

Work closely with product and engineering teams to define near term and long
term product roadmap

Create mechanisms to drive timely, accurate, and comprehensive project
execution. Create clarity, eliminate obstacles and drive issue resolution to
ensure deliverables & timelines are met. Drive continuous improvement efforts to
ensure delivery mechanisms get better over time

Serve as a trusted advisor to product and engineering team
About the team
The LATECH team is 300+ people; the Canada office is a small portion of that (30
people, primarily in Vancouver) made of experienced Amazonians who tackle
complex/ambiguous problems every day. We keep our on-call load low, so we can
focus on solving bigger-picture problems. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of
technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software
engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes
and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of
project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along
with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building
sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses
and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary for this position ranges from $128,100/year up to $214,000/year.
Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of
compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in
addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
