What You’ll Deliver:
We are looking for a Content Strategist, Growth Marketing to play a key role in growing our direct-to-consumer (DTC) tenant insurance business. This role will build a content strategy and infrastructure to fuel visibility, engagement, and business growth. Reporting to the VP Marketing, this role owns the content calendar and translates strategy into execution, ensuring all content helps renters make decisions at each stage of their journey, generates qualified traffic, and grows organic and AI search visibility. This is a hands-on role with strategic ownership; you will write and edit core pieces across channels.

Strategy & Planning
Build and maintain a content strategy aligned to DTC growth goals and SEO/GEO priorities
Own the content roadmap and calendar across web, blog, email, social, landing pages, and video
Monitor competitors, customer feedback, and trends to identify gaps and opportunities
Production & Execution
Create or oversee creation of content across website, blog, landing pages, social, email, and video
Research, write, and edit content that supports customer decision-making from awareness through purchase and renewal
Write scripts and creative briefs for video content, partnering with design for production
Build repeatable production workflows to increase content velocity and depth
SEO, GEO, and AI Visibility
Develop and implement content initiatives that improve performance in search engines and in generative/AI discovery (LLM-influenced tools, answer engines).
Conduct keyword, audience, and intent research; map content to gaps and opportunities.
Maintain on-page optimization standards and content architecture that supports scalable organic growth.
Measurement
Track, analyze, and report on how content initiatives are driving measurable outcomes (visibility in search/AI, qualified traffic, funnel progression, and purchases).
Maintain a regular review cadence to turn results into future ideas, priorities, and experiments.

Skills and Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or certification in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in digital content strategy, demand generation, and SEO
Track record of improving search results and driving revenue through content strategies
Strong writer/editor with ability to translate product and brand positioning into clear, persuasive stories.
Proficient in analytics platforms, SEO tools, and AI
Collaborative, curious, and proactive team player
