Job Title: Intermediate Accountant
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing monthly journals, performing monthly SG&A and P&L variance analysis, running various reports, preparing balance sheet account reconciliations, and assisting with other accounting tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journals with relevant supporting working papers.
Perform monthly SG&A and P&L variance analysis for multiple entities.
Run various reports from the accounting system to support the team.
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
Assist with other tasks as required.
Essential Skills
5+ years of full cycle accounting experience, with a focus on reviewing reconciliations.
Experience with US GAAP or IFRS, or strong ASPE knowledge.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, X and V lookups, and analyzing large data sets.
CPA designation or working towards it.
Experience with Oracle.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Big 4 or mid-size public practice firms.
Experience working with larger complex companies and multiple entities.
Educational background
Strong analytical skills, sociable and likeable personality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Punctual and mature attitude.
Comfortable speaking with multiple departments.
Work Environment
The schedule is Monday to Friday, starting at 8 am, totaling a 40-hour work week with some flexibility. This role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office with a business casual dress code.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
