Purpose and Scope
To produce printed components through various methods/machines.
Responsibilities
Ensures all ink and components needed for printing are readily available before printing is started.
Operate different printing machine including stamping and screen printing.
Places, positions and aligns components onto the machine to be printed while maintaining a consistent flow of goods.
Does minor set-up and adjustments on printing machines.
Visually inspects printed component for clarity of printing and general appearance.
Ensures quantities as required on the work order have been printed.
Physical Requirements
Constant movement of neck (head-tilting, turning left or right)
Repetitive and/or forceful finger movements
Constant wrist movement
Fast paced environment
Manual dexterity
Repetitive tasks
High attention to detail
Standing for long periods of time
Job Requirements:
Education and Training :-
Secondary school diploma. Must be trained on WHMIS and GMP.
Experience :-
A minimum of six (6) months experience in operating a printing machine.
Other Skills Required :-
Excellent manual dexterity and eye/hand co-ordination. English communication skills.
