Job Description Overview AtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private sector nuclear engineering groups. Your role About you Civil Engineering degree from an accredited University with minimum 10 years of structural analysis and design experience in steel and concrete structures in Nuclear Power Plants and/or industrial buildings. Master’s degree and above is an asset. Must be Licensed in a professional engineering organization recognized in Canada. Preferably registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. 3 to 5 years of site or field experience in Nuclear Power Plants and/or industrial buildings is an asset. Must have experience with static, dynamic and seismic analysis of structures and foundations. Deep and thorough understanding of structural engineering gained through a combination of design-office and site experience. Thorough knowledge of Canadian and International Codes and standards used in Civil/Structural engineering. Thorough knowledge of the use of Analysis software commonly used in Civil/Structural engineering such as StaadPro, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, etc. Knowledge of modification process of Nuclear Power Plant; ECC process or similar is an asset. Must have good skills in time management and setting priorities. Must be able to demonstrate effective organizational skills. Adequate knowledge of established Nuclear QA guidelines, procedures and practices is preferable. Adequate knowledge of applicable nuclear safety codes and regulations is an asset. Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Ability to manage to work effectively under tight schedules and budget. Eligible for Security Clearance through Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Travel to client sites is required.
