As a Network Security Analystin the Cybersecurity team at Canadian Natural, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding our enterprise network by managing and optimizing security technologies, including Palo Alto, Fortigate, ForeScout, and ClearPass.
In this role, you’ll design, implement, and maintain advanced network security controls, ensuring secure connectivity across our global operations. You will work in a collaborative environment where your technical depth and certifications will help strengthen our network security posture.

Key Accountabilities:
Manage, configure, and optimize enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate) and network access control solutions (ForeScout, ClearPass)
Develop and maintain network security policies, standards, and procedures
Monitor and analyze network traffic for anomalies and potential threats
Implement and maintain segmentation strategies and zero-trust principles
Support incident response activities related to network security events
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure integration of network services
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and provide guidance during audits and assessments
What You Bring to the Role:
10+ years of professional experience in network security with a degree or technical diploma with proven hands-on experience managing enterprise firewalls and NAC solutions
Certifications in Palo Alto Networks (PCNSA/E), Fortinet (NSE4/5/7), and vendor-specific NAC certifications (ForeScout, ClearPass). Cisco certifications (CCNP Security, CCIE Security) are considered an asset
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN/VRF, BGP/OSP, SSL/TLS, DNS, and VPN
Experience implementing zero-trust, segmentation, and compliance frameworks
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively across teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
