BC Place is gearing up to welcome the world for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and we are looking for a highly organized Facility Operations Coordinator - FIFA to help keep our stadium running at its best.
This is a full-time temporary position specifically tied to FIFA-related operations, expected to conclude September 30, 2026.
Reporting to the Director of Facility Operations, you will manage the behind-the-scenes details that keep everything moving from coordinating maintenance schedules, tracking projects, and keeping documentation, purchasing, and logistics on point.
You will support maintenance programs and vendor contracts, help streamline workflows, and ensure our facilities are ready the major event. Working closely with teams across the stadium, you’ll play a key role in keeping BC Place operating smoothly through the World Cup.
What You Will Do:
Provides support to the Director in developing tactical, short-term FIFA-related projects.
Represent facility management to clients (partners), show managers, general public, and staff.
Schedule and coordinate activities for contractor work on site including, but not limited to, access, parking, shut downs, deliveries and orientations, and communicating these activities to the stadium’s staff relating to FIFA.
Liaise with internal/external clients, suppliers and tenants to provide service needs.
Ensure project deliverables are on time and meet quality standards.
Administer the reporting of work assignments for payroll, financial, and analytic support via ABI, software program.
Collaborate with purchasing to create requisitions to order tools, parts, and equipment for repair and inventory.
Provides general administrative support to Engineering and Operations Departments.
Ensure client requests and event requirements are dealt with in a professional manner and consistent with BC Place values.
Preparing reports, maintaining departmental records, coordinating communications and organizing meetings and assisting with day-to-day scheduling and workflow.
Help ensure smooth operations across the department including supporting the conversions team.
Support timely execution of maintenance and event-related activities.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
Experience coordinating administrative processes within a facilities, operations, or event environment.
Familiarity with event or operations management systems (e.g., Momentus).
Experience working in a health and safety focused environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Comfortable working independently while supporting a diverse, fast-paced team.
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or contract administration.
Flexibility to support events during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with Microsoft office applications, online tools, and digital documentation.
The salary range for this position is $51,393 - $64,241
Offers will be in line with PavCo’s internal pay equity and qualified candidate’s experience and education.
You will earn 8% vacation pay on your earnings and will be paid out on each bi-weekly pay.
