Within BRP, Global Manufacturing Operations (GMO) is undergoing a significant digital transformation aimed at enhancing the visibility, performance, and consistency of our operational excellence practices across all our sites in Canada, Mexico, the United States, and Finland.
In this approach, data is a crucial lever to drive continuous improvement and support informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.
We are seeking a BI Analyst with 7 to 10 years of experience who will play a key role in valuing and narrating operational data. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning and Operational Excellence and working closely with the Data and Analytics team, this individual will contribute to transforming manufacturing data into dynamic and visually impactful dashboards, supporting strategic and operational decision-making across BRP's global network.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Collaborate with teams to design and develop clear, visual, and strategic Power BI dashboards, enabling better understanding and management of manufacturing performance.
Convert data into visual narratives (data storytelling): structure, prioritize, and stage information so that it tells a compelling and useful story for decision-makers at all levels.
Design intuitive and aesthetic user interfaces and experiences (via Figma or similar tools) to optimize clarity, navigation, and engagement around BI solutions.
Ensure high-quality design of Power BI interfaces: adaptive design (desktop, tablet, and mobile) and optimized performance (speed, fluidity, loading).
Collaborate closely with the Data and Analytics (DNA) teams to ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data integrated into dashboards.
Contribute to the development of a BI visualization standard for global manufacturing operations, promoting consistency, reusability, and comparability across sites.
Act as an expert in visualization and storytelling within the global network, supporting users in the interpretation, adoption, and utilization of BI tools.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business intelligence, or a related field.
7 to 10 years of relevant experience in BI development, with a specialization in data visualization and user interface design.
Excellent command of Power BI (datasets, modeling, publishing, performance).
Demonstrated proficiency in DAX and SQL for data manipulation and integration.
Significant experience in a manufacturing environment, with a good understanding of operations and industrial performance indicators.
Experience in data storytelling: the ability to transform raw data into clear, visual, and engaging stories that support decision-making.
Knowledge of interface design tools (Figma) and an aesthetic sense applied to visualization.
The ability to understand operational issues and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (operations, engineering, data).
Proficiency in French and English; Spanish is a significant asset in an international context.
Functional leadership, rigour, analytical curiosity, and a keen sense of visual communication.
Willingness to travel approximately twice a year to our sites in Mexico.
