The Client Acquisition Lead is responsible for driving new business acquisition. This role focuses on identifying, pursuing, and securing new customer logos while expanding non-ocean logistics offerings such as Contract Logistics, Ground Freight (FTL, LTL & Cross Boarder), and Supply Chain Services. Reporting to the Integrated Sales Manager, the position requires a strategic, results-driven individual who can build a pipeline of high-value opportunities and convert them into sustainable revenue streams. Key Responsibilities • Identify and target prospective new customers within the vertical. • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new logos and expand market share. • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using Salesforce.com. • Collaborate with growth enablers to accelerate deal closure. Commercial Delivery • Achieve budgeted targets for ocean and logistics & services (L&S) volumes and revenue. • Drive revenue growth and profit optimization across all product lines. • Expand ocean and non-ocean logistics activities with emphasis on contract logistics, ground freight, and supply chain offerings. Customer Engagement • Deliver compelling value propositions tailored to customer needs. • Act on feedback to enhance service delivery and satisfaction. Stakeholder Management • Partner with regional and global vertical leads to share insights and best practices. • Align with product teams to ensure competitive pricing and service offerings Required experience & skills • Bachelor’s degree required • 3 -5 years of external sales experience in transportation and logistics. • Strong business acumen and understanding of industry dynamics • Expertise in sales strategy, process, and execution • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and MS Office Suite • Willingness to travel, as required. Pay Range: $85,000-$105,000 CAD *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
