THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Site Superintendent to join our Tenant Improvement and Capital Projects Division. Reporting to the Director, you will lead day-to-day site operations and work closely with our sub-trades, clients, consultants, and our internal project team to deliver projects that meet EDGE standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout.
Coordinate and schedule sub-trades to ensure efficient and safe site operations.
Communicate clearly and proactively with sub-trades, clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
Uphold EDGE safety culture and ensure full compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations.
Conduct quality control checks and ensure all work meets project specifications.
Track daily site progress and assist in maintaining project schedules.
Foster a clean, organized, and professional site environment that reflects EDGE values.
Proactively identify potential risks, deficiencies, or delays and propose practical solutions.
Be available for evening or after-hours work when required. This is not a full-time expectation.
WHAT YOU BRING - EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Minimum 5 plus years of site supervision experience in commercial or institutional construction.
Hands-on carpentry experience and comfort with tools are strong assets.
Trade background in carpentry or Gold Seal Certification is an asset.
Experience with occupied environment projects or tenant improvements is highly valued.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead with clarity, respect, and follow through.
Strong leadership presence with a positive and solutions focused attitude.
Collaborative approach and ability to build strong working relationships.
Well-organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Proficiency in MS Office. Experience with Procore, MS Project, or SiteMax is an asset.
