Pay Range Commensurate with Experience We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to be the Program Supervisor for our Peel Connected Families: Mental Health Support for Families with Children Program. The primary responsibilities are to provide short-term counseling, case management, crisis intervention, and service navigation assistance as well as supervise a dedicated team of Child and Family Support Workers and volunteers who support families with childminding and teaching/mentoring parents to strengthen parenting skills. This newly funded program will fill a gap in the Region of Peel to improve access to mental health services. #INVHACorp #LI-PI1 This is a Temporary Full-Time role (1Year Contract) What You’ll Be Responsible For: Manage a caseload of 63 families, conduct home assessments, and provide ongoing field visits. Update care plans, develop discharge strategies, and ensure families are connected to the right community resources. Assign, schedule, and supervise Child and Family Support Workers and volunteers. Conduct performance evaluations and ensure high-quality service delivery. Respond to service inquiries, conduct intake screenings (by phone or in person), and develop individualized client care plans with system navigation and referral services. Schedule initial home visits, conduct regular progress check-ins, and facilitate team problem-solving around service plans and operational challenges. Promote program outreach, build relationships with community agencies, and help shape strategies to meet evolving local needs. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) required; Master of Social Work (MSW) preferred. Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Minimum of 3 years’ direct experience working with families with children facing mental health challenges. Demonstrated experience in family and mental health counselling, including crisis intervention and supportive counselling. Proven group facilitation skills, including program delivery and psychoeducational groups. Experience in client service coordination, case management, and staff supervision. Experience working collaboratively with Child and Family Support Workers, Volunteers, and Social Work students. Strong knowledge of community resources, social service systems, and best practices in family and mental health support. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Knowledge of the City, TTC routes, and the various components of the Agency preferred. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Computer skills in word processing and data entry.
