Job Summary: The production labourer will be primarily responsible for plant maintenance and performing any other tasks requested by the supervisor to ensure the efficient operation of the plant. Our Benefits: Unionised, permanent position, 40 hours/week Starting wage: $29.66/hour; $28.91/hour after probation (60 days) Evening premium (3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.): +$2.00/hour Night premium (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.): +$2.50/hour Saturday: +$3.00/hour Sunday: +$4.00/hour Comprehensive group insurance programme Telemedicine Pension fund with employer contribution Gym and physical activity reimbursement On-site gym Job-related training Schedule: Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Evening shift: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Night shift: 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Must be available on Saturdays – 1 Saturday out of 2 on the day shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) Rotating schedule: day/evening/night Responsibilities: Clean and maintain the plant and production machines (washing, degreasing, shovelling) Handle snow removal and perform some painting work Work in confined spaces Operate forklifts Replace production operators The above list of tasks and responsibilities is summary and indicative.
